    Recurrent BSODs

    Hello,

I've been having seemingly random BSOD's, with different indicated causes, for two weeks now.

They happen during games, or when browsing on google chrome.

The dmp files seem to indicate either RAM or a driver, however the chkdisk doesn;t indicate a RAM problem, and almost all my drivers are up to date (as far as the free programs can tell).

I am a bit out of ideas on how to further troubleshoot these issues.

Today it happened twice, according to "whocrached" this is in the .dmp files:

On Mon 25/02/2019 22:20:48 your computer crashed or a problem was reported
    crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\022519-24265-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: hidclass.sys (0xFFFFF8016686B059)
    Bugcheck code: 0x1E (0xFFFFFFFFC000001D, 0xFFFFF8016686B059, 0xFFFFF8015A610400, 0x0)
    Error: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\hidclass.sys
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    company: Microsoft Corporation
    description: Hid Class Library
Bug check description: This indicates that a kernel-mode program generated an exception which the error handler did not catch.
This might be a case of memory corruption. This may be because of a hardware issue such as faulty RAM, overheating (thermal issue) or because of a buggy driver.
The crash took place in a Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system that cannot be identified at this time.

On Mon 25/02/2019 20:59:33 your computer crashed or a problem was reported
    crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\022519-35718-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: hal.dll (hal+0x25AD)
    Bugcheck code: 0xFC (0xFFFFE001AC419120, 0x8A000001DA2009E3, 0xFFFF8603A2708830, 0x3)
    Error: ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY
    file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\hal.dll
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    company: Microsoft Corporation
    description: Hardware Abstraction Layer DLL
Bug check description: This indicates that an attempt was made to execute non-executable memory.
This may be a case of memory corruption. More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in buggy drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules. Memory corruption can also occur because of overheating (thermal issue). There is a possibility this problem was caused by a virus or other malware.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

dmp files are also on dropbox:

    Recurrent BSOD

    Hi,
I had recurrent BSOD after installing the new Office Update a week ago, which resulted in my resetting my laptop and reinstalling windows 10. This worked for a bit I have now started experiencing BSOD less frequently than before on startup up from sleep and once when plugging in an HDMI cable. Please advise.

    Recurrent BSODs

Recurrent BSOD crashes while watching youtube!

    Hi All,

I am getting recurrent BSOD crashes on my Windows 10 system, while watching videos on youtube.
When I was using Windows 7 I have never experienced this problem. Once I upgraded to Windows 10, the BSOD crashes have started.
I had posted in the general discussion forums about this issue and I got the suggestion of updating the drivers on my system. I have seen updated the display drivers. However, the crashes are still there.

I have collected the details using the DM_log_collector.
Please help me fix this issue.

    regards,
