    Recurring appointments made by outlook-app on android aren't shown anymore in windows-app


    I have a couple of recurring events that are made in the outlook-app on my android phone. The show up correctly in the calendar in the outlook-app and also online in outlook.com. They used to show up correctly in the windows-app, but for some strange reasons, from October on, they aren't showing up anymore.I did some testing, and it appears that newly made non-recurring appointments made on my phone are showing up correctly. Newly made recurring appointments are not shown. For another test, I made a non-recurring appointment, and it shows up like I said above. As soon as I change this appointm

    Remote app for android

    I recently traded in my iphone for an android, and just realized that hippo remote is iphone only. I'm looking for a similar app for android so I can use it as a remote for my htpc. Any suggestions?

    Outlook Mail for Android

    After an afternoon of fiddling with my Moto phone, I configured the phone as follows since I mainly use Outlook for contacts and appointments.

    1. Android Outlook app for IMAP accounts, Gmail & Outlook email. Built in GMail app disabled.
    2. Built in Contacts app used linked to Outlook account as default (I've no idea why it wouldn't synch to Gmail)
    3. Android Outlook app used for Calendar and built in Calendar app disabled.


    All now works fine. I can't find a way of controlling push notification for the Outlook app but at least it all works and synchs.
