I've been experiencing recurring Explorer crashes every originally 3 minutes however now ever ~15 minutes or so. I have a series of minidumps that I have analysed though I don't know what this means and alternatively can upload if helpful.I have done DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and sfc scan which both completed successfully.CONTEXT: .ecxrrax=000000000357dc10 rbx=000000000357e190 rcx=000000000357dc10rdx=0000000000000000 rsi=000000000357e190 rdi=000000000357dc10rip=00007ffe3c90fa32 rsp=000000000357db30 rbp=0000000000000001 r8=0000000000000000 r9=0000000000000000 r10=

    Windows 10 Recurring Crashes

    Hi Tom,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

As this is not a BSOD problem, this is not the right part of the forum.
There are a few suggestions I would give you, NO garantee it will help!

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

    1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
    2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
      • Double click the executable to open it
      • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window

Warning Programs that claim to update your drivers install either the wrong or corrupted drivers.
If you have installed any driver with AVG Driver Updater, please remove them as it may cause trouble.

    Explorer crashing

Thanks Zat. I had never looked at event viewer and it had more info than I thought. Seems the problem was a second computer I was trying to network with. Unplugging the ethernet cable fixed the crashes. Explorer must have been looking in the wrong place I guess.
