    Recycle bin corrupted, access denied, etc etc.


    All I'm trying to do is fix the massive folder on a solid state drive external containing all the pictures and videos from my childhood, and I run into problem after problem. "The Recycle Bin on D:\ is corrupted. Do you want to empty the Recycle Bin for this drive?"I click yes, it comes back. I click no, it comes back. I've tried running the command prompt as an administrator, typing in the appropriate codes, restarting the computer, it just got worse. Can someone take me through this process step by step? It seems every tutorial I watch or website I visit or discussion post I read assumes I

    Recycle bin corrupted

    Im trying to reset my recycle bin because its corrupted in the c drive but when i follow the steps to restart it using the command prompt (even in administrator) it says access denied. Please help.

    Recycle bin corrupted

    I have the same problem as many others, ie the recycle bin being corrupted. I've tried doing what has been suggested - going to cmd, being administrator and then pasting in the text given (also changing the drive to my drive that is corrupted). After I
    enter it always comes up 'access if denied' - I don't know what to do next.

    Can anyone help?
