Recycle Bin disappeared on my desktop. I have it enabled in the personalization > Themes > Desktop Icon Settings. The other icons are present, i.e. Network, This PC.I accidentally dragged the icon off my right monitor to the left, but it does not appear on my left monitor. I can enable Recycle in Windows Explorer, however, I would like it back on my desktop.I am using Windows 10.Thank you in advance for any help.George...

Please try this first:

Open Settings App

Select Personalization - Themes - Desktop icon settings

Select the Recycle Bin check box - Apply

If that does not work you have the Windows 10 bug that causes the Recycle Bin to Disappear . . .

Righ-click your desktop and select New folder.

In the name field, copy-paste the following and hit Enter:

Recycle bin.{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}

The folder convert into the Recycle Bin!

With Windows 10 we have an option to show or hide Recycle bin icon. Please follow these steps to show the icon to your Desktop:

• Select the Start button, then select Settings .
• Select Personalization > Themes > Desktop icon settings.
• Select the Recycle Bin check box > Apply.

• Type Settings on your search bar.
• Select Personalization and choose Themes.
• Click on Desktop icon settings.
• Select the Recycle Bin and click Apply.
