Windows 10: Red and Blue Outlines around people

Hi. When I'm watching video files on Netflix, Youtube etc. people and things have a red/blue outline around them. How do I get rid of it? It disappears when I take a screenshot of it or when I scroll down and up, although it reappears after a few seconds.

Hi Nathan,

The issue might occur due to corrupted display drivers or incompatible drivers.

I suggest you to update display drivers from device manager and check if it helps.

To update the drivers, follow the steps below.

• 
  Type “Device Manager” in search box and press Enter.
  
• 
  Right click on the drivers for Display and Touchscreen and select Update.
  
• 
  Follow the on-screen prompts to update.

How to get rid of the blue outline?



I find it a bit annoying as the blue and the black don't match together.
Using the dark accent colour does get rid of the blue outline but I don't want to have to use this option.

The problem does seem to only appear on Firefox when I'm using a custom dark theme.

After a long time, I have managed to solve this problem. I just switched back and forth from Full HD resolution to the resolution of the monitor and voila, the problem was solved.

Follow the steps below:

1. display adapter settings

2. display adapter properties

3. click list all modes

4. Now just click the highest resolution in the list (i tried both 32-bit and interlaced) and apply it. After a while, switch back to the original resolution of your monitor (In my case it was 1360X768) and the red/blue dots will disappear.
