    Red cross does not clear from high level folder icon. OneDrive issues fixed, cross remains.There were red crosses on other folders sub folders, but as the OneDrive sync issues resolved those crosses fixed too. Onlt the very last high level folder has a red cross remaining. I have show hidden folders, so it's not related to a hidden folder. OneDrive also now has zero unresolved issuse.I have deleted the icon cache, that hasn't helped.Screenshot: 2024-10-25 12 45 23.png

    white cross in red circle icon for OneDrive folders


    I am successfully using OneDrive on two Win10 machines. I am trying to use it on my Tablet (ASUS). The folders I set up and their content have a white cross 'X' in a red circle icon. I can open the documents and pictures but the option to get a OneDrive Link for sharing is greyed out and is not available. I tried deleting the folders and recreating them, same problem. Ay suggestions please? I don't want to use the sync feature, just the ability to copy/paste only the items I want to save on OneDrive. Thanks...Raj

    Thanks for all this Greg. Much of what you suggest is beyond me but I have been able to solve the problem. Fortunately, I still had the photographs on my camera's SD card so I deleted the folders from my hard drive and from onedrive and downloaded them
    again but this time into a new onedrive folder, then copied the folder from onedrive to my hard drive and there are no red crosses. I think that before I saved them to the hard drive first. Anyway, I am grateful for your suggestions which prompted me to
    find a solution.

    All the pictures in one of my picture folders have a red cross on them. How do I get rid of the cross?
