Windows 10: RED CROSS under status column along nearly all of my files????

What the hell is going on? Does anyone know? All of sudden there is this red cross showing up against all my files in My documents and my pictures no longer are showing the images all of a sudden - only a windows 10 icon. Please help - Annie

Red 'X' in status column

In the status column in my documents several of the files have a red x instead of a green tick. This means that when i open the file it does not open properly and says 'upload blocked' and asks me to save another copy of this document.

What can I do to change this?

 

"Status" column in File Explorer in Windows 10

I verified that the view option "Always show availability status" and "Show status bar" were cleared, but the "Status" column is still showing. I selected the two options, applied the changes and then cleared both of the options and applied the changes,
but the "Status" column still appears.



As you can see, the parameter is not selected, but the "Status" column is still visible.





Here are my guesses:

• MS has another bug in the software
• MS has made the column permanent
• Changes to what I see in File Explorer are applied, but are not being retained
• There is another way to turn off the "Status" column

How can there be a red x next to "OneDrive" in File Explorer when the "Status" column does not show any red x?





In the above picture, there is a red x next to "OneDrive" on the left side, yet there is no red x in the "Status" column.

My question is: In File Explorer on Windows 10, how can there be a red x next to "OneDrive" when the "Status" column does not show any red x?

Normally, if the status is successful for all OneDrive files and folders, we would expect the "OneDrive" item on the left side of File Explorer to not show a red x, but that seems to not be the case in the above picture.
