    Red Xs on files and other problems


    Recently my laptop is showing some problems, and I can't find the solution anywhere.


    I apologize for my lack of technical language and eventual errors, english is my second language.


    It all started when some of the files in my desktop got marked with a red xas well as blue arrows in a circular shape mostly in new folders. I thought it was normal behaviour of the system so I ignored the problem until others showed up, like the windows menu refusing to open and the wifi menu claiming to be connected to my phone's hotspot even after I turned it off.


    Right now the marks on my desktop are gone, but red Xs remain in the windows explorers files, such as documents, pictures and one drive; the windows menu still doesn't work, so does the search bar; and I can no longer see the wifi logo in the taskbar.


    I don't even know if these problems are related to each other, please help.

    Why are Red Xs appearing on my icons when I have two 1 TB OneDrives full of space?

    But whats causing those Red Xs?

    One Drive Problem


    I was able to get to the Upload Center and went into settings and deleted the cache. I restarted the computer and at first all the files were uploading but after a minute or so I got back the RED Xs. I tried it 2 or 3 times again with the same results.

    Any suggestions.

    Drive Icons in File Explorer have red x's?

    Are you syncing information with Onedrive or any other solution?

    If using, is that solution logged into and functioning properly.

    I see the little green check mark on dropbox in your screen shot.
