Windows 10: Redeemed Minecraft with banned account

Hello. A while back I redeemed my free Windows 10 edition of Minecraft with an account that had been banned on Xbox Live. The ban happened years ago and I forgot to use my newer account to redeem the code. I'd like to play with friends on other consoles. Is there any way I can get a new code or have the game transferred? Sorry if this isn't the correct place to ask this. If it isn't, can someone point me in the right direction. Thank you.

I have pc version of minecraft and I redeemed the code without an account and I can't redeem it again. Do I have to buy the Windows 10 version on my xbox account.
