Redirecting Downloads Folder Made My Other Drive Act Different

Hello, so I tried to move my downloads folder to my other Hard Drive and doing that I accidentally did not make a new folder. I looked and fixed it by putting it back into its an original place, but now my whole drive, like the first time you open it is sorted by dates and everything like the downloads folder. For example, if I clicked on my other drive, the folders just sit there without extra organization and modified date names. This just annoys me and I do not know how to fix it if I already removed my downloads folder from that area. I will attach pictures of both drives.

  2. Music folder acting as hard drive

I have both an ssd and hard drive and was attempting to redirect my folders to the hard drive but made the mistake of not 1st creating a music folder on my hard drive. Now my music folder is acting like the hard drive folder. When I right click and select
the properties for the music folder it looks like the properties of a hard drive. Is it possible to fix this?

  3. Redirect Folders

I'd like to redirect the Downloads folder to a different disk (D drive). What's the best method?

    a. Right click Downloads folder -> Location -> change path
    b. or, use mklink?

    Thanks!

  4. Redirecting Downloads Folder Made My Other Drive Act Different

Redirected my Documents folder to root of a hard drive, can't revert

    Hello,

In an effort to save the space on my SSD, I started redirecting the "This PC" folders to equivalent spots on my Hard Drive. In the process, I accidentally redirected the Documents folder to the root of the hard drive. I am so far unable to revert this or
change it to the proper spot on that hard drive. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
