Windows 10: Redirecting the everything going to the user folder

Discus and support Redirecting the everything going to the user folder in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have a small system SSD-disk that is getting to small for the task.     I have a small system SSD-disk that is getting to small for the task. I don't really have a replacement at hand and I can't afford a new one right now. So I know windows and programs running on windows just keep filling the user-folder with all kinds of trash, it's a venerable death world jungle of files and folders that would take weeks for me to sort through, and I neither have a chapter of Salamanders or Sisters of Battle at hands. Nor do I want to accidently nuke my system with an exterminatus. I want to do one simple thing. I want to redirect all that **** that piles up in that folder sys

    Windows 10 Folder Redirection

    Hi,

    We are planning to Implement Folder Redirection for all the AD Users. Currently all the AD User are having Home Folder mapped to their AD Profiles redirected to a File Server.

    My question is, if we create a Folder Redirection policy for Documents what will happen to existing Home Folder and will the Home Folder data will be redirected to Folder Redirection or Only User Profile Documents will be redirected.

    Bit confused. Please help!!!

    Redirecting the everything going to the user folder

    Redirected user folders now duplicated since windows 10 upgrade.

    I do want some of my user folders redirected from SSD to HDD. SSDs are not capacious enough for system files, videos, music etc. all together.

    Funny thing that old folders remain in use and the new ones are left empty by windows 10. For example MS edge downloads file to old, redirected folder. Old folders’ properties do include “location tab”; new ones don’t have such a tab, and I guess
    can’t be redirected. (Step back in Win 10).

    I’m not sure if I can simply delete new ones without causing some issues for example after future actualizations.
