You can block adds on a lot of web pages by clicking on "Reading View" when showing....to the left of star...top right hand corner.

Adding extension support is fine, but then someone has to code those extensions. I'm of the mindset that I'll stick with chrome primarily for now. I use Edge on occasion, but I will wait for it to mature. Yes, it is definitely better than on the original release, but it has a long way to go before it can compete with the browsers that have been around for some time.

Extensions aside, I'll use Edge when it behaves like a browser and not an app.
Heck, might as well use UC Browser or the Google search app!

I updated to Windows 10 from W7 a few weeks ago and was very pleased with Edge, it loads pages quite fast; some may say because it does not support extensions, but I was very surprised that it didn't. I'm certainly looking forward to the day it does as it could be the browser of my choice then, but without things like Adblocking and Script blocking, not to mention the extensions that tell you whether sites are safe or not when Googling, it doesn't feel that safe or secure which is why Firefox is my choice at present, although IE, Chrome and Opera are occasionally used.
