Reduce the windows 10 scaling below 100%

I have a Surface Pro 5 attached to 32" 1080p display. My goal is increase the amount displayed on the screen using a method of "zooming out".

On Android, there is a method of achieving this by changing the DPI. Windows is said to have this capability using Reg. Keys (regedit.exe) however that method seems outdated as it no longer seems to function.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can reduce the size of items system-wide on my display using software or OS on the windows side of things? Maybe a way to force a higher resolution (I have integrated Intel graphics)?

I realize this will come at a cost to clarity. I'm fine with that for these purposes.

    Thanks.

  2. Windows 10 scaling

I was running Windows Vista on my laptop which allowed a scaling function of 75. This setting was correct for my 16 inch screen. Now I am running Windows 10 and the lowest scale factor is 100. This makes it difficult to see everything on my laptop. How
can I reduce this scaling factor?

  3. Windows 10 Creator's update - Every time I undock, scaling goes to 150%

We appreciate that you have checked your drivers and followed the suggested troubleshooting steps. Since the issue is still the same, this can be related to the new customer scaling settings that came with the Creator's Update. Can you follow the steps below
so we can check it for you:

    • Click on Start then Settings.
    • Choose System then Display.
    • Under Display, select Custom scaling and set it to 100%.

Update us on how it goes as we are eager to get this resolved for you.

Reduce the windows 10 scaling below 100%

    Display scale / settings

I'm running dual 32" screens (required for drafting, not reduced vision) and need to reduce my 'display' screen to a custom scale less than 100%. I've been through the 'system' - 'display' - 'scale and layout' - 'custom scaling' - but 100% is the smallest
option possible? Anyone have a way around this?? TIA
