Windows 10: reestablishing previous email address

I just bought a new computer and am having heaps of problems-I have windows 10 now, and this computer is a very difficult one to learn. I was put on gmail which I do not like. My previous which Microsoft supported was a lot more user friendly.

I can sign in fine with the current account, but I didn't know if I would be able to reestablish the emai address that I deleted off the list???

Reestablishing email address

I messed up and cancelled a @live.com e-mail address. Right after cancelling it won't let me reestablish it because it says it is being used. Of coarse that was me before cancelling it. How long is the waiting period to reestablish this address, or is there
another way to do so???

Win10 Mail - where's the address book?


That’s now the People app.
If you know the contact's name or email address & they’re listed in the People app, you can start typing the first few letters of their name or email address and Mail for Windows 10 will suggest matching contacts.
