Windows 10: Reference: Task Bar

When is MicroSoft going to give us back the ability to move the entire task bar to the Top of the screen or to the left and right vertically.I have applications with fixed icons at the bottom of the screen so I can't move those.If I don't use the taskbar Hide option then I wind up with a large part of the screen about 2 inches vertically that shows applications I might also have open....super distracting and slows me down.If I use the Hide taskbar option, I can go full screen but then when I go down to click one of those application's icons the taskbar pops up and covers them. Cannot modify Task Bar settings
