Windows 10: Reformat win 10

    Reformat win 10


    Hello all,

    Can someone instruct me the correct way to reformat windows 10 home. I want reformat to where everything is erased and back to factory condition (like new). I assume when this done that win 10 will reinstall itself and any programs, etc that came with the Pc when it was bought new. I have an HP 510-010a with win 10 Home

    Installed Window 10 Pro on a ASUS U56E that had Windows 10 Home

    I tried to do a clean install of Win 10 Home w/o reformatting the SSD but I kept getting to an install page for Win 10 Pro.

    That is why I thought I might have to reformat the SSD.

    So do I need to reformat the SSD first or is there some other way to install Win 10 Home?

    After rollback to win 8.1 from win 10, i cannot find win 10 upgrade in Windows Update anymore

    Hi, I had some problems with some programmes (mainly Microsoft office 2007) in win 8.1 but continued to upgrade to win 10.

    but the problems persisted and I decided to rollback to win 8.1, then follow by reformatting the whole pc.

    after reformatting back to original win 8.1, now I cannot find win10 update in Windows Update anymore.

    how can I get win 10 upgrade back?

    Reformat win 10

    You have to watch the screen when you first power on the PC, it should show you what key to push to start the Recovery process.
