    Reformating a Hard Drive and Reloading Windows 10


    I have an old Toshiba laptop that I no longer want. I would be happy to give it away but I clearly dont want my remaing data on it. So I followed the instructions to "Reset this PC" and took the options to clear the data.


    It ran for the better part of a day with the percentage rising normally all day. I let it run all night and when I returned to it percentage was at 83% and stayed there all day. I finally just turned it off and restarted it. My data was just as I left it.


    I need some help please.

    i had to reload windows 10 on a windows machine reformated and did a hard reload now it don't want to activate

    I had to do a clean reset for windows 10 on my windows 7 machine

    which means wiping the hard drive now it don't want to activate win. 10 after reloading it
