Reformatting drive to boot on newer system, now WindowsRE is missing

I wanted to use a new m.2 drive to boot on a new system. I cloned my current SATA SSD onto it and couldn't get the new system to recognize it as a boot drive.I did some reading and saw that I would need to reformat the drive from MBR to GPT for the new system to recognize it. I did that but now windowsRE is missing.C:\WINDOWS\system32>reagentc /infoWindows Recovery Environment Windows RE and system reset configurationInformation: Windows RE status: Disabled Windows RE location: Boot Configuration Data BCD identifier: 073a46bc-e395-11ea-a449-f5b6c65b901d Recovery imag

  3. Recover or Reformat?

    The reformat won't budge?

I did what you said and then was told to remove the CD from the CD-Rom Drive, put in the recovery CD and then press the 'OK' button to continue

So I changed to the next disk but the OK doesn't appear to be being 'pressed'. Yes I have pushed enter on the keyboard which is what I have been using to get me through the other steps..

    Any suggestions?

How to reformat USB Recovery Drive

Part of the commands and results were missing from the image.

Open adminstrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    diskpart
    list disk
    select disk #
(replace # with the disk number for the flash drive)
    attributes disk clear readonly
    exit

If the above steps work then you are set.
If the above steps fail then view this link for additional troubleshooting steps:
