Windows 10: Regarding the Lock Screen of Windows 10

I have configured the lock screen in such a way that I chose a custom background and removed the Windows Spotlight. Now, in the preview of the same in 'Settings', I noticed that the selected background picture has become dimmed/darker/less brighter.

Also, I have noticed the same whenever I turn on the PC and confronted with the Lock Screen. The custom background which I have selected is darker/dimmer/less brighter than its original colors/brightness. And please, please kindly do not confuse this with the acrylic/blur effect, as I have already switched that off.

Is there any way to remove such effect from the lock screen? Let me tell the viewers that the version of Windows is Windows 10 Professional x64 Edition 2004; Build 19041.508.

• When you say that "rolling slideshow ", what exactly are you referring to?
• When you say that "I can't activate it again.", are you referring that you are not able to Activate Windows 10?
• What are the troubleshooting steps which you have performed to resolve the issue?

I suggest you to follow the steps below to set the lock screen pictures.

1. Right click on Desktop screen.

2. Then click on Personalize.

3. Click on Lock Screen.

4. Try to select the lock screen picture.

To change the
lock screen photo, follow these steps:

• 
  Go to
  Settings.

  Choose
  Personalization.
  
• 
  On the left side of the screen, click on
  Lock screen.

  In the
  Background, change it to
  Picture.
