Windows 10: Regarding URLs and ports needed to be opened on firewall for windows update online

Hi all,In our organization, we need the URLs and port needed to be opened for the intune autopilot laptops patch to be updates from internet. What are the URLs required to be open in firewall and is there any powershell script to check the connectivity from the LAN?

When I sign in to the Wi-Fi on two different college campuses MSN.com opens after logging in which is causing me trouble.

To prevent the browser window from opening when the computer connects to a network that has a proxy server, you have to configure the network firewall to allow access to the following URLs on port 80:

*.msftncsi.com

I am using the Firewall in Windows Security that comes with Windows 11.

How do I create a rule to allow port 80 for only the specific URLs listed above?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. I understand your concern and I am glad to assist you.

If Windows Firewall is blocking an application and you want to allow that application to receive info through the firewall, you can usually do that by selecting the application in the list of allowed applications, as described in the previous section.

However, if the application isn't listed, you might need to open a port (a way for applications to receive info through the firewall).

For example, to play a multiplayer game with friends online, you might need to open a port for the game so that the firewall allows the game info to reach your PC. A port stays open all the time, so be sure to close ports that you don't need open any more.

  Search (or if you're using a mouse, pointing to the upper-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer down, and then clicking
  Search), entering firewall in the search box, and then tapping or clicking
