Windows 10: Regarding WER Fault

Hello, I have this problem where when I shutdown or restart my laptop before it can even shutdown or restart it's saying that a program is open or something and it's saying that WER Fault is open and that I need to close it so I don't lose work or anything important but I don't even see any WER Fault open it just appears when i try to shut down or restart it. Yes I did make change's I believe I I got a message from Acer sense that if I see the administrator thing where you can choose to allow or don't allow the program to make changes to your device thing I need to click allow then I did click

Wer fault Errors on Lenova Yoga 700 Windows 10

My laptop keeps locking up with Wer Fault error messages. It will completely freeze and I have to restart to bring it back up again. The errors are sometimes slightly different but this one is the most common:

WerFault.exe application error

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000012d).

 

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
