Windows 10: Regarding Windows 10X

Just to keep things clear & clearly understood...

10X is not a new Windows OS. It is a design that is hardware specific... meaning it is built for dual-screen/foldable devices.

However, if someone wants to 'look' at it...


It can only be viewed on a desktop via an emulator AND only on an Insider Fast Track Build. That Insider Build cannot be running on a virtual machine for this to work as, it necessitates Hyper-V being enabled. Obviously, the machine must be virtualization capable and its CPU must be Intel. If you meet these basic requirements, you will be able to fetch the emulator from Store once on Insider Build 19578; current Build is 19577.

NB: Caveat - This is for Win10 IB on a spare box or dual-boot. VMs won't do it and Insider Builds are never "production machines".

Windows 10X

Will all windows users can upgrade to windows 10x for free as they got chance to upgrade from windows 8 to windows?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
