Windows 10: Regarding windows Activation!

Hello I have a question regarding the windows activation of my windows 10.So I recently got a hackTool:Win32/Keygen that windows defender found, as I wanted to download a file for a windows xp skin mod now I did not open the file and windows defender removed it safely as it got blocked mid-download. So I wanted to do a "clean install of the same windows" I assume this is called Recovery -> Option 2 Remove Everything on windows 10. This pc has only had this windows installed and it has not been upgraded from previous windows like windows 7-> windows 10 and I am using the same exact

I suggest you to activate the copy of Windows 10 via phone by following the steps below:

• Press “Windows key + R” and type “slui 4” and press Enter.
• Select your Region/Country.
• Select the Phone Activation option, and hold on for a real person.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

If you don't have a product key for Windows 10 Pro, it won't activate. You need to downgrade to Windows 10 Home.
