Windows 10: RegAsm.exe opening every 1 minute

Hi Guys

On my computer, this window called RegAsm.exe pops up every minute and then disappears as fast as it popped up. I have tried task scheduler and sfc doesn't work, can you please help me?

Real Regasm.exe keeps popping up and closes repeatedly

Every "45" seconds regasm.exe opens up with a blank screen. Also on startup, a window called "System32" appears with information about the .NET Framework and all that I know it is the real regasm.exe as it states sometimes the address of the file location

It was the assembly file for that error regasm.exe

 

It seems to be part of Net Framework, so is probably a legitimate file.

However there is a risk malware is involved, so you should do appropriate checks.

Suggest you try
a. Safe Mode
b. A clean boot
and see if it appears in either case.
Perform a Clean Boot in Windows 10 to Troubleshoot Software Conflicts Performance Maintenance Tutorials

Note- you could just disable all startups and go from there.

If not, then progressively enable items you disabled for the clean boot until it reappears.
If that works out, you can identify what it relates to by a process or elimination.

Alternatively:
a. Do you have a System Restore point you can use created before this started happening?
b. Do you have a disk image created before this started happening? We constantly recommend people use disk imaging routinely as it means users can often restore their disk or PC to a previous good state quickly and without technical help. E.g. Macrium Reflect (free).

 

I have solved it myself using task scheduler thank you for your help though.
