Hello! I will ask you a very critical question. We can access the recovery options on the computer. However, I noticed that I had made a regedit setting on the computer and the computer was stuck on the lock screen and I could not enter my pin. Then, somehow I opened regedit with cmd on the lock screen and fixed this situation. But by restarting. However, what I do not understand is that the regedit setting I made in the computer recovery options does not work in the system. And the system undoes it. My computer is Windows 11 Home 24h2 and a normal version. However, the regedit changes made in

  2. "Recovery" Partition Came up and I want to hide it.

    Did it finally...

    1. Open regedit:

      Start→Type regedit
    2. Find the right key/folder:

      Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices
    3. If the EFI partitions drive letter is still in the registry, delete the value:

      e.g. \DosDevices\X:
    4. Close RegEdit and reboot.
Thanks to "Japelo_1976" at "How to hide EFI-partition?"

KB5034441 recovery partition on system partition?

This is not your average KB5028997 situation.

The recovery partition is actually System-reserviert.

Leave System-reserviert alone and create a genuine recovery partition after drive C. Shrink drive C by 1 GB in disk management. Then run

    • diskpart
    • select disk 1
    • create partition primary
    • format quick fs=ntfs label=”Wiederherstellung”
    • set id=27
    • exit
    • reagentc /disable
    • reagentc /enable

    Install KB5034441.

Failure to apply update due to recovery partition issue?

    My suggestion would be to:

    1) Disable WinRE

    2) Delete partitions 4 and 5.

    3) Extend the C drive to utilize the unallocated space (minus 750 MB)

    4) Create a Recovery partition in that 750 MB unallocated space.

    Step 1:

    *******

    To disable WinRE, run:

    • reagentc /disable

Next, check if winre.wim has been moved to the c:\windows\system32\Recovery folder. To do so, run:

    • dir c:\windows\system32\Recovery /a

    Please post the outputs.
