    In Mac operating system we can just put laptop in sleep and use it for n number of days like that, But in windows due to regedit need to restart. Please consider developing windows XXX with less restart.

    ok, was just looking for a way to reset my registry or the correct values but thanks anyway

    Regedit

    A lot of us here have used a program to clean the Registry but it generally is NOT needed. The Registry is made up of 5 text files called Hives. If one has no experience in playing around in the Registry or making wrong choices in a cleaning program can kill Windows requiring a reinstall.

In Services it indeed shows it Disabled. It also shows it Running. I'm unable to stop it; all of those options are greyed out. Multiple restarts have not helped....
