I'm trying to find a way how to know the CurrentVersion of my windows. in registry over Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersionwe can find a CurrentVersion keythis key has 6.3 for the valuebut the key ProductName has Windows 10 Pro as valuethe problem is that CurrentVersion should be 10.0 for Windows 10as mentioned here Get Windows Version from System Registry arclab.comis Microsoft forgot to update the CurrentVersion when it release win 10 ?

I want to pass on my laptop to a friend::
I changed my name in registry "RegisteredOwner". eg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion

Why does the new name not show in C:/users instead of name is still the old one.?

Windows Registry Key

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion

The keys that matter are ProductName, CurrentVersion, CurrentBuildNumber and CSDVersion. CSDVersion means info about Service Pack.

 

How to fix after accidently delete all registry on Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts

I just accidentally delete all registry in \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts in the registry editor, and now my laptop can't do a lot of things (like can't use search on the taskbar, sometime it cant read from keyboard), many character also lost
