Windows 10: Registry Configuration for Driver Load Success in Windows 11 HLK Inf verification test.

Using the Infverif.exe tool from WDK 10.0.22621 on Windows 11 24H2 Build 26100 to verify an INF file, the following command is executed: Steps executed to run the test: Open command prompt. Navigate to the WDK tools installation path. Execute the below command. infverif.exe /u "absolute inf file path" For the INF AddReg directive section, entries have been created as follows: HKLM, %SmartCardName% HKLM, %SmartCardName%,"ValueName1",0x00000001,"ValueData1" HKLM, %SmartCardName%,"ValueName2",0x00000001,"ValueData2" Upon validation with the infverif.exe tool, an error code "1304" is report

Windows HLK - Router Testing on Windows 10

I planned to perform Wireless Router Testing for Windows 10 using the HLK toolkit.

As per the basic HLK requirement, I brought up the HLK Controller by installing the Controller + Studio in a Windows 2008 Server and have installed Clients from the Controller's share in 4 Windows 10 PCs

As per this link, https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/dn974571(v=vs.85).aspx,
there should be configuration jobs and test jobs available for configuring and performing the “Router” Tests. But no jobs or Features were seen on the HLK manager under $\WDK Tests\Networking.

Later I installed WDK for Windows 10 in the Controller (Windows 2008 Server) hoping to find some jobs/Features being populated under $\WDK Tests\Networking, but still no jobs or Features were listed.

Being a beginner, I couldn’t assess if any additional package is missing or any configuration change or “Job/Feature imports” to be performed in HLK. Moreover couldn’t find any reference for it in the Documentation too.

 

oem157.inf oem158.inf blocking Windows 11 upgrade

Repeated attempts to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 have been "hard" blocked by XPS and PDF drivers oem157.inf and oem158.inf. This exact scenario has been reported/documented before with early upgrades to Windows 10. The documented solution steps from this historical issue have not been successful in resolving my current Windows 11 upgrade failures.

XPS and PDF features have been disabled. Every primary and secondary reference linked to oem157 and oem158 has been removed from the registry and the oem157 and oem158 files removed from the Windows/INF folder, yet the Windows 11 upgrade continues to fail with 0xC0900209 error which is caused by oem157.inf and oem158.inf. DISM and SFC have been used to no benefit in this issue.

Would the existence of the prnms001 and prnms009 folders/files in the Windows/System32/DriverStore/FileRepository folder cause the Windows 11 upgrade to be blocked by oem157 and oem158? Are there other items that need to be "cleaned" of the XPS and PDF driver references to allow Windows 11 upgrade to be successful?

HyperVisorCode Integrity Readiness Test Failed in HLK

I use HLK to test a filter driver on Win10, but it hangs at the following step. I found the HLK Client has rebooted, but this test item shows hanging. I append my env info at the end. Could someone help me to figure it out? Thanks in advance.
