Windows 10: Registry database corrupted

So i uninstalled my nvidia drivers as i was having issues with shadowplay and attempted to reinstall them, reinstall was unsuccessful so i tried an auto install of my graphics driver from device manager where it gave me the error that the registry database is corrupted.



Windows updater also doesnt work and im stuck on a 2019 version of windows.


I restored to an older system image and it did nothing to help.

I cant restore or reset the pc as it gives the error "something went wrong"


Sfc scan gets stuck at 72% everytime



Please help i just want my pc back at this point

I am unable to open any of my Microsoft Office apps (i.e. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel).

When I do try to open, for example for Microsoft Word, a message appears reading:

The configuration registry database is corrupt

When I try to open Microsoft PowerPoint, a different message appears:

This app can't open

Check the Windows store for more info about PowerPoint

I have tried troubleshooting Windows update and it has detected a problem problems:

Potential Windows Update Database error detected

Windows Update component must be repaired

Check for pending restart

For the database error it has suggested uninstalling and reinstalling updates,

but I am unsure on how to go about this or even if it would work.

Further, I have looked at the Windows Update setting to see if there are some pending updates.

There are two:

1. Feature update to Windows 10, version 1809
2. 2018-10 Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4100347)

The Feature update to Windows 10, version 1809 keeps on installing from 0-100% again and again.

The 2018-10 Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4100347) status is Pending restart, and has been like that for a while.

I will really appreciate your help.
