Windows 10: Registry Editing after USB Tethering Created Networks

I followed the directions on the thread for USB Tethering creating new names each time. I would like to clean up my Windows 10 registry. There are 14 folders in my Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0007 Key. They are numbered 0000 through 0014. I was wondering could I delete those folders. (I backed up my Registry.) My biggest concern is deleting the key 0000.

The only downside is that the network icon in the notification area doesn't work properly. Is there a way to stop adding new names AND make the network icon work?

Regarding your questions:

• Windows 10 is updated
• drivers are updated
• This issue always occured. (started using usb tethering one week ago)

Usb tethering of android phone creates new network location.

Every time i reconnect my android phone to my pc via usb tether it creates a new network location even though the device has not changed. is there a way to configure my pc so that it recognises this device each time it is connected without having to create
a new network location?.

Having said that, please provide the answers to the following for us to be able to learn more about your concern:

• Is your Windows 10 updated?
  
• Are your drivers up-to-date, especially your network adapter? If not, you can follow the steps found on this
  link on how to update your drivers in Windows 10. You can also check your manufacturer's
  website for the updated network drivers.
  
• When did the issue start? Have you tried USB tethering before without your PC creating a new network name? If yes, what are the recent changes made before the issue start?

Also, let's make sure that automatic proxy detection is turned
OFF:

• Press the Windows + I keys from the keyboard to launch
  Settings.
  
• Click Network & Internet.
  
• Choose Proxy from the left pane.
  
• Make sure that "Automatically detect settings" option is toggled to
  OFF.
