  1. Registry Error and Unable to use password to system restore, reset, etc.

Boot up my windows 10 activated PC recently to get hit with a registry error. When I go into advanced troubleshooting, every option requires my password in which I continually get "Password is incorrect" even though I can log into my Microsoft account on other devices. So currently I am unable to run a command prompt, restore, or reset my PC to get past the registry error.

    :)

If a system restore restores the registry to how it was before, then how come a trial version of a program does not reset?

I do the following in the given order:

    1. Create a system restore point. There is a note of what the registry looks like
    2. Download a program which has a trial of X days
    3. When that trial runs out, use system restore to return to the previous point before the program installation

After these steps, the trial for the program does not reset, even though the registry returned to how it was before. Why is this?

How to delete inactive System Image Restore Points in System Restore

    Windows 10 64-bit.
When I click "show more restore points" in System Restore I see a bunch of old "system image restore points" that were deleted in past and do not correspond to any currently active restore points. Clicking any of these old restore points, I simply get an error message saying they could not be found, and to select another restore point instead.I would like to delete these restore points listings but have been unable to do so.
So far, I have tried steps mentioned below without any luck :

Disk Cleanup through (CRegistry Error and Unable to use password to system restore, reset, etc. :) Properties
Disable System Protection (OFF and ON) in System Protection for OS (CRegistry Error and Unable to use password to system restore, reset, etc. :)
Disk Space Usage to minimum (slider button all the way to the left then 'Delete all restore points for this drive'),
Delete all shown Restore points in CCleaner (the problem ones do not show here),
Reset Windows Backup to Default in Windows 10 with 'Reset_Windows_Backup.bat' utility.

    Any suggestions highly welcome.
