  1. Registry

A couple of years ago after an update of Windows 10 my optical drives stopped going to file system on inserted disk. When inserted windows goes to a drag and drop burn screen. Device manager shows two ATA Channel 0,two ATA Channel 1 and two PCE IDE Controllers. When deleted with system reboot they return. Checking the registry I found under the IDE Channel two channel 0 and two channel 1. If a disk is inserted before windows boots up the disk works fine. Any ideas?

    :)
