  1. Regular and consistent display freeze.

Hi, I have an unusual problem. I have a new Ryzen 9 7950X / X670E Steel Legend Motherboard with 64Gb DDR5 RAM, an nVidia RTX 4090 and 4TB SSD running Windows 11. I primarily use MSFS SU11 in VR Varjo Aero. Every 9-12 minutes the monitor or VR headset freezes for around half a second, then unfreezes for half a second, then freezes for a second time for half a second. After the event, the simulator runs totally smoothly whether on a monitor or in VR until the next event. This happens consistently.I have run the Scannow / DISM checks and no issues found.I have the latest drivers for teh RTX

    :)

Wireless Display feature freezes on a regular basis

I suppose it would be considered Miracast. It's the system menu accessed either from the Display Settings page, "Connect to a Wireless Display" or by using the shortcut keys Win+K.

Freezing is the only way to really describe it as that feature becomes completely unresponsive.

Unfortunately these PCs are used in a critical environment which doesn't leave the time for troubleshooting while the issue is present, I must get the machines running again ASAP.

It's been happening on a regular basis and frustrating my users. Machines are kept up-to-date with Windows updates and drivers.

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
