    Regular BSOD for seemingly different, inconsistent and non-reproducible reasons

    I have a custom PC that I built in Nov 2017, and it has given me a BSOD fairly regularly ever since. It usually happens once every 2 or 3 days. I have not used this computer very often yet but I will need to rely on it staying up soon. I use it for VFX work and it is common to leave a machine running for many days or more at a time for very long simulations and renders. The crashes seem to happen during any kind of activity from heavy load to idle, and I rarely get the same error each time. I've had KERNAL_SECURITY CHECK_FAILURE, errors related to a audio card driver (which I have since downgraded and seems to work much better), IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, and a few others. I have no idea where to start when it comes to debugging and stopping the crashes. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Here is a OneDrive link to the event viewer export of the most recent critical level events, the files in the Minidump folder, and an output of Driverview. There have been many more crashes than these but these are the only ones that seem to have a log right now.

  2. Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

    I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

    Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
    We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
    I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
    Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
    Step 2:
    I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
    It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

    7 different BSoD

    Hey guys,

    I have a serious problem. I make it as short as possible:

    • system runs 100 % fine with the 10.12
    • updatet to Catalyst 11.1 -> BSoD
    • updatet to 11.1 Hotfix -> BSoD
    • rollback to 10.12 -> BSoD
    • removed ALL AMD files manually, installed 10.12 -> BSoD
    • Temps are fine
    • no sfc /scannow errors
    • no chkdsk errors
    • Prime, Furmark all fine
    • regardless what driver I install -> BSoD
    • I did no hw changes, no OC
    Here are my BSoDs I receive:
    • 0x0000010e
    • 0x1000007e
    • 0x0000007e
    • 0x0000004e
    • 0x0000003b
    • dxgmms1.sys
    • PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
    They all refer to the GPU of course ...

    From now on I receive a BSoD every time I try to play a game (especially BC2 and SC II) even if I completely remove the old driver and make a clean install.
    Apparently the 11.1 damaged my system irreparable.

    Any advice or info would be very much appreciated *Smile Regular BSOD for seemingly different, inconsistent and non-reproducible reasons :)

    Seemingly Random BSoD

    Hello,

    I bought a Laptop about six months ago, and immediatly expirienced crashes. They happen seemingly at random. No matter what I'm doing, and the error on the BSoD has given a variaty of reasons over the months. I've done two or three clean installs of windows
    10 and try to keep all my drivers updated. Althrough, I do this through via a program - DriverEasy.

    Hope you can help.
