  1. Regular drop in audio quality and frames per second while playing games.

While playing video games, I get regular audio and FPS problems. About every 3 minutes or so, the game's frames per second drop to around 10 or less, the audio coming out of my computer will sound robotic, and YouTube videos and their respective sound will slow down to around half their normal speed. Each iteration lasts around 1 minute, making it really hard to play games.

My computer is a Acer predator Helios 300, with a GTX 1050 Ti graphics card and a intel core i5 8th genaration processor.

If someone knows what could be the cause of the problem or anything in that matter, please help.

    :)

Frame drops while playing video on second monitor

So, this is driving me nuts. I've got a dual screen setup where I run my other 1440x900 monitor off my processor's integrated graphics. Every time I'm watching a stream or watching youtube or a movie on the second monitor, the game that's running on my primary monitor suffers a drop of 15 to 20 FPS. That is a very significant drop on a system that shouldn't be experiencing any kind of trouble with that setup by any means. Does anyone know what's causing it and how to fix it? I've got proper up to date drivers for both my GPU and Intel HD. Both processor and GPU utilization percentages and temperatures are within normal parameters.

    My specs are:

    • MSI Z170A Pro
    • Intel i5 6600k
    • GeForce 1070
    • 16GB RAM

I really appreciate any help that you guys can give. Nobody deserves frame drops like these Regular drop in audio quality and frames per second while playing games. :(

Computer receives random frame drops during games and normal usage

    Hello.

I am in desperate need of help with solving this issue. I hope it can be fixed.

So about a few months ago after I replaced my GPU fans (don't know if that was related to the problem) I started having FPS drops. It happened every few minutes whenever I played games or just used my computer normally. At minimum, I go from 144 FPS - 80 but
I can even have frame drops from 144 - 7. It usually isn't that severe but it made games harder to play than usual.

Here are among the things I've tried:

    • Reinstalling Windows 10
    • Replacing SSD
    • Turning on ultimate performance mode (which should unpark cores if I'm correct)
    • Checked for malware and viruses
    • Reinstalled NVIDIA drivers and games
    Notes:

I also tried lowering my FPS maximum to 25 in one of the games and I still get frame drops. Just that the frames can't go much lower since there aren't many frames, to begin with.

    Specs:

    OS: Windows 10 pro-64-bit

    Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600

    Ram: (2x8GB) DDR4 3000MHZ

Motherboard: gigabyte b450 wifi pro mini itx

    GPU: GTX 1070 (palit)

Storage: Kingston A2000 500gb SSD (NVME) and Seagate 1TB 2.5 HDD

sound: Realtek Audio Device & NVIDIA HD

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
