  1. Reindexing Media specifically music Files

I am using a new Windows 11 all-in-one to stream music files to a Cambridge EVO 150. DLNA file sharing is turned on and I can successfully stream. However, the individual tracks on albums are not in the correct order. The help for the app Cambridge StreamMagic say the solution to this is to "rescan/reindex" the files. After lots of searching, I still cannot find any guidance on how to do this. will really appreciate any help to remedy this.

    :)

  2. Windows music media files.

    Hi,

I appreciate if you could answer to a few questions to narrow down to the issue.

    • Are you trying to play the music's directly from the CD?
    • Are you using Windows Media Player to paly the music?
    • Did you try a different player?
    • Did you try copying the songs to a particular folder and checked if the issue persists?
As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to run Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter and check if that helps to resolve the issue.

    • Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Select View all on the top left corner.
    • Click Windows Media Player Settings.

Hope the information helps. Let us know if you need further assistance. We will be happy to help.

    Thank you.

  3. Transfering music files from Groove Music to Media Player

    Hi Jim,

To better assist you, we'd like to clarify the following information:

    • When you used the 3rd party application to copy the files, is it saved to your local drive?
    • If it's already saved on the local drive, follow the steps below:
      • Open Windows Media Player.
      • Click Library.
      • Right-click Music, then select Manage Music Library.
      • Click Add.
      • Select the folder of the music files you have transferred, then click
        Include folder
        .
      • Click OK.
We'd appreciate any additional information you may provide.
