Windows 10: Reininstall windows 10

I had to have windows 10 reinstalled at geek squad they backed up the data but i think all my programs and apps have to be reinstalled is there a way i can get all that back my apss my desktop my desktop icon etc files they said the shortcuts are there but i have to put the programs back in how do i do that like Thunderbird my contacts a and such can you help I did transfer some of the stuf to an external hard drive but do not remember how far back it wasalso o used acronis and reflect to back up bit i need to put all that back in right.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
