Yesterday, I decided to reinitialize Windows on my PC, because there were a lot of programmes, issues, etc.. And I thought...     Reinitilization of Windows - All of Windows 10 stopped fonctionning


    Hi...


    I'm desesperate.


    Yesterday, I decided to reinitialize Windows on my PC, because there were a lot of programmes, issues, etc.. And I thought it would be the best to start over.


    After 8 hours of processing, the reinitialize went over, and I took back the control of my computer. It reinstalled Windows 10, I log in and...


    And none of the Windows 10 functionnality works. I can access to the old core windows, like Control Panel, Task Manager.


    But I can open the "Start Menu", the Search windows panel, the Windows Update one, etc..


    Even when I'm right clicking on my desktop to open "Personnalize" menu the one which help to choose colors, etc..., i get this message :

    "This file does not contain any associated application to execute this action. Install an application or create an association on the Parameters of Default Application page."


    I'm really. Really scared: a windows 10 without it's core functionnal programs? How can I help the situation?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    That doesn't stop windows update from grabbing them on next run, at least it didn't back in the RTM days. It simply stops a secondary process from installing them immediately.
