Windows 10: Reinstall my Photoshop Elements and Lightroom at least 4 or 5 times

I have been having one crash after another of late. I recently spilled coffee on my laptop and since I had an extended warranty, I had the mother board replaced and the laptop was returned to me. I have had to reinstall my Photoshop Elements and Lightroom at least 4 or 5 times because they keep acting up and I get the error message to reinstall. Lately I have had my PC repeatedly shut down with the blue screen of death. I now am having it shut down every time I try to open Quick Access. I uninstalled several Cyberlink programs and my PC has not given me the BSOD lately so I may have fixed that problem. However, I still cannot open Quick Access without shutting down my PC. I have tried to fix that by following a method I found on the internet. I am suppose to paste 2 folder paths in the address bar but I cannot keep File Explorer open long enough to do that and try that fix that disables Quick Access and then enables it to see if that would fix the problem.


One more question. When my laptop was returned, I started getting a message that says the "Manufacture Programing Mode is in the Unlock Mode". Is the unlock mode correct or should it be in the locked mode? Could this be the root of my problem? If so, how do I change the programing mode to the locked position? I did a reset of my PC in an effort to cleat that up but it did not work.


I need all the help I can get on this one. You all have helped me a great deal in the past.

Do I have to uninstall then reinstall Photoshop Elements and Lightroom on Windows 10?

I have version 2,5.7.10.11,12 of Photoshop Elements and Lightroom 5. Do I have to uninstall then reinstall on Windows 10?

 

photoshop elements 8 won't open

I suggest you to download the Photoshop elements 9 (latest version) from the below link and check if it helps.
Download Photoshop Elements 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, and 7

After downloading the setup file, Install the setup files through compatibility mode by following the below steps.

I suggest you to install the program in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

1. Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.

2. Select Compatibility tab.

3. Check Run this program in Compatibility mode and Run the program with Windows 8.

Photoshop 5 worked a couple times in Windows 10

I understand how it feels when things doesn't work as expected.

Method 1: I suggest you to reinstalling Adobe Photoshop 5 and check if it helps.

Method 2: If the issues persists, try to reinstall Adobe Photoshop in compatibility mode and check if it helps. This might have caused due to any compatibility issues.

Follow these steps for installing Photoshop in compatibility mode.

• Place the applications installation file on the Desktop.

• Right Click the applications installation file and select
  Properties/Compatibility Tab. Select the appropriate options from the list in the following image.
