Windows 10: Reinstall Windows 7 or temporarily remove files?

Hi, I try to reinstall windows 7 by following this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPq5QEwVM_A&ab_channel=MDTechVideosInternational but I before setup I got ''no valid windows installation disc can be detected''. Would you please let me know how to proceed in the most simple way - I don't understand anything for computers. Let me know step by step like press F.. then this and this. The reason to want to reinstall it is becaus I want to sell the laptop but want my files to be totally removed without any chance for recovery if there is a method for it instead of reinstalling - pl

Reinstalling Windows 10 to sell a PC - is the 'Remove everything' option enough?

Restore factory settings do list Removes your personal files, apps and settings, and reinstalls the version of Windows that came on this PC.

So if this isn't true well than just erase the drive and install a clean Windows 10 with all the drivers u need but why should it be true

Reinstalling windows 7

Hey guys I got a new xfi soundcard yesterday and was having a few issues which i feel are software related so i decided to reinstall windows 7. I've done this numerous times on this computer. When I go to install it tells me once i click 'install now' and before i select my drives etc that i need a cd/dvd driver, flash drive, etc and tells me i can remove my installation media during this step. WTF? The ONLY thing that i can think of that's changed is my new sound card. I made sure no flash drives were attached and even unhook my BT dongle for good measure. The disc is in good shape and like I said I've used it many time without issues. Any thoughts?

you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.
