    Reinstalled Horizon 4 - Lost All Save Data


    Hello Everyone,


    So I have reinstalled Forza Horizon 4 as it kept crashing for some reason.


    The reinstalling fixed the issue, but the whole game started over. Please don't tell me that I have to go through all of the starting races to get my progress back.


    I played so much and I have to start over just because of a reinstall?

    Forza Horizon 3 Reinstall

    Hi Luke,

    A corrupted data may cause your Microsoft Store cannot find a download or install optionof
    Forza Horizon 3. Here are steps on how to reset Windows Store to clear store cache:



    1. Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.



    2. Click on Command prompt (Admin).



    3. Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.



    4. Restart your computer and reinstall the games.

    Well, I'm sorry to hear that it's a WD My Passport that failed on you, @tomhenry ! *Frown Reinstalled Horizon 4 - Lost All Save Data :(
    I'd recommend you to try using a different USB cable with it and see if that will help your system to detect it without it disconnecting.
    I'd also suggest you to go to Disk Management and see how the drive is listed there. It won't hurt to check up on the health and SMART status of the HDD by running the QUICK and EXTENDED tests from the WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostics.
