Discus and support reinstalled win 10 yesterday and cannot access updates with error 0x80240fff in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I thought that the best way to rid myself of windows update issues would be to reinstall win 10--WRONG.     reinstalled win 10 yesterday and cannot access updates with error 0x80240fff


    I thought that the best way to rid myself of windows update issues would be to reinstall win 10--WRONG. Now I'm getting error code 0x80240fff. No updates coming my way at all.

    Now in a real pickle.

    That is an ongoing issue from yesterday.there is nothing wrong with the system.

    Windows 10 wont update Error code 0x80240fff

    If yours build is also 10240,upgrade to Windows 10 1511 first.I can provide you the steps if you wish.
