  1. Reinstalled Windows 10 on a SSD and my favorite games stopped working

Basically, i had an HDD that was too slow at loading my games so i got an SSD and decided to wipe the HDD to have it as a storage unit, i then installed Windows 10 Pro on my SSD via USB, until now, it's all good, system is faster and all that stuff.

I install a few games from Steam, they all work as intended but then i get to PAYDAY 2, whenever i start the game it'd just inmediatly close, and by opening it from the original folder it gave me this error: 0x00007b, i try to fix it to no avail and i give up and install other games. That's when i open up Rocket League the same thing happens except this time it shows me a black screen for 5 secs and then crashes, no error message pops up tho.

Both these games worked just fine before reinstalling Windows 10, and i doubt it's the SSD's fault so what's going on?

    Things i've tried:

Reinstalled and verified game cache several times

Updated drivers, even used a different graphics card.

Used /scannow, found no corrupt files

Reinstalled all the Visual C++ packages, NET Framework and DirectX versions

Installed DLL files that are commonly used by games

So far, none of these have made even the slightest change, and i've been trying to fix this for weeks now,the only thing i haven't tried is wiping the SSD and installing Windows again, and i'm gonna do that tomorrow unless you guys have a better idea, i'm just really tired of this weird error.

Cannot reinstall 3 favorite programs with Version 1607 update

My desktop and laptop have updated to Version 1607, Build 14393.187 (Windows 10 Home), and the update conveniently uninstalled three of my favorite programs--Windows Movie Maker 6, Chess Titans, and Spider Solitaire. I had installed Chess Titans and Spider Solitaire successfully in Windows 10 using msgames_win8_x64.msi, but now when I try to reinstall the games, the icons reappear, but the games won't start. The new version won't let me reinstall Windows Movie Maker 6 at all.

Funny thing is that Revo Uninstaller shows both Windows Movie Maker 6 and MS Game for Windows 8 listed as installed.

Is there an additional step or setting that would let me reinstall these programs? Thanks.

Move Favorites icon to desktop win-10

Your suggestion does not work. It did work on Windows 7.
