    First post here.

    Reinstalled windows to fresh SSD, while keeping secondary hard drive with programs on it. How can I easily relink the programs?

    A number of the programs work if I click on them in my secondary drive, but they don't show up in start menu or start search.

    How can I easily fix this?

    SSD Detected - Secondary Drive (Hard drive) is not

    Ever since doing a fresh install of Windows 10, in "This PC", my secondary hard drive is not in the list. I have already tried right clicking "This PC" and clicking Manage -> Disk Management, but there is nothing there except my SSD with Windows 10 installed.

    I have tried changing SATA cables, SATA ports, but it still does not appear in This PC. I have also tried installing my hard drive on a another computer to see if the files were corrupted. They were not, all files were still the same before the installation
    of Windows 10. I did not leave the hard drive plugged in during the installation.

    In the BIOS, my computer recognizes both my SSD and my hard drive, but in This PC, it's still missing.

    Anything else I can do? Thank you! Reinstalled windows to fresh SSD, while keeping secondary hard drive with programs on it.... :)

    Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

    Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

    Steps to confirm issue:

    • Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
    • Secondary drive not visible in device manager
    • Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

    Steps to replicate issue:

    • Installing 1909 update

    Steps to resolve issue:

    • Uninstall 1909 update

    Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

    SECONDARY HARD DRIVE KEEPS DISAPPEARING

    I recently upgraded my ASUS ROG GL552vw with a 256 samsung ssd. I cloned my OS from the Hard drive pre-installed into the new SSD. but when I boot from the SSD, after a while the HARD DRIVE with drive letter D: disappears and is not available in disk management..
    it only shows up after several restarts or hard boot. when I boot from the Hard disk Drive ,I have no problems but I want to use the SSD as my bootup and program installation drive because of it's speed but my secondary hard drive which I inten using for document
    storage keeps disappearing.

    I have checked bios for settings concerning the drives.. but found nothing...what do I do please...
