Windows 10: Reinstalled windows using a USB I'm using a local account but edge has transfered profiles...

I reinstalled windows 11 via USB and Rufus and used a local account after installing all my drivers. I signed into MS Store. It asked me I I want to sign in and sync data on all apps. I pressed No and when I went onto edge my profile was transferred I never synced I never logged in I was signed out yet this happened

New Local Account Not Working In Windows 10

This issue could have happened due to corrupted profile on your Windows 10. We suggest that you delete the non-working profile on your PC and try to register it again.

To delete your non-working account, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Click on the *Start menu**. It's the Windows logo in the bottom left of your screen.

  Click on Accounts.
  
• 
  Click on Family & other users.
  
• 
  Click on the account you wish to remove.
  
• 
  Click on the remove button.

  Click on the Delete account and data button.

Local account installation question

I'm fairly certain that Skip this step was available in 10.0.130 - the workaround in Step 20 (back button) is no longer required.

The currently known, as of 10.0.130, ways to create a Local account sign-in are

• Skip this step at the MS account creation phase
• No Internet connection during the install
• static IP (post# 2 by Fragment) - New (to me anyway)

 

Transferring Administrator Account Profile


Hi all,

Upgraded to W10 from W7 several months ago now and activated and used only the built-in Administrator account. Which is what I have done for many years now to stop the UAC popups.

However, I have soon discovered this Administrator account, while blocking the UAC popups has some serious limitations. Like cannot run Edge or any of the Metro Apps. Yes, I have tried the workarounds but they too have issues.

So how can I transferred all my settings for my programs and windows to another local username?

Any suggestions appreciated.
