Windows 10: Reinstalling Clean install Windows 10 Home that came preinstalled on my Laptop

Hi,I recently purchased a Lenovo Ideapad that had Windows 10 Home pre-installed. But along with the Windows, there were also unwanted applications factory installed by Lenovo.So I want to download the Windows ISO image and use the media creation tool on a USB pendrive and then perform a clean install.My query is - after the installation, whether Windows 10 home will get automatically activate? I dont have the product keys so I was hoping if it will be activated once I login using my registered e-mail ID?Thank you in anticipation!Supriyo

Reinstalling Windows 10 to sell a PC - is the 'Remove everything' option enough?

Restore factory settings do list Removes your personal files, apps and settings, and reinstalls the version of Windows that came on this PC.

So if this isn't true well than just erase the drive and install a clean Windows 10 with all the drivers u need but why should it be true

Few months ago I bought new Dell laptop (came with preinstalled Windows 8.1). I upgraded the system to Windows 10, but at some point my configuration was broken and since then it's not working as expected. I did 'factory defaults' and even this left some
data on the hard drive (for example, I have my wallpapers different than original, I believe that should have been restored to defaults as the option suggests).

Now, I'm a bit tired of looking for a solution to fix one problem after another. I'd like to reinstall Windows 10 (or 8.1 if that makes any difference), but keep the key of preinstalled version (don't want to buy new key, sorry Microsoft). Is there a way
to do that? Clearly, factory defaults do not restore default configuration, and to be honest, default configuration on this laptop was full of crapware anyway.

That being said, is there a way to make clean install of Windows 8.1/Windows 10, but use preinstalled license key? I read that starting at Windows 8, some kind of BIOS-key authentication is being used? Is that correct? Can I plug pendrive with Windows and
install it without specifying new key? And where can I download Windows image from (if any)?

Clean install of XP on Dell laptop?

My friend has an inspiron laptop from dell. He got it with Vista preinstalled on it, but wants to switch back to XP. He got an XP Pro CD, but when he inserted it, the "Install XP Now" option was greyed out. I thought it might be dell trying to make life difficult when reinstalling windows. *Confused Any advice??

If I formatted the hard drive for him, NTFS, would I be able to clean install XP or would the prob still be there?
