Windows 10: Reinstalling programmes after component change

I am upgrading my cpu, ram and motherboard. My dad seems to think that I cant just plug the same ssd's into the sata ports without having to reinstall all of my programs (office, games ect) is this true?

TLDR: Upgrading cpu motherboard and ram. Can i keep the same ssd's without having to reinstall all my programs?

• When you say programmes, which programs are you exactly referring to?

Meanwhile, I suggest you to run the
System Maintenance troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click on System Maintenance.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

If you want to change the account name in your file path, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Make a local account first with the name you want, then sign into a Microsoft account.
• Open your C: Drive and then go to the Users folder. Check if you see the other account there.
• Delete the account and then change your Local Account into your Microsoft account.
