Windows 10: related to product key

i brought a new laptop 3 days ago , in window settings it is written that i will get the product key in a mail from the seller but the shop owner is refusing that they send any such key . how can i get the key now

Why was I not asked for a product key when upgrading to Win 10?

According to your spec you have Win 10 Pro, but perhaps that doesn't reflect your PC.

You haven't stated which edition of Win 10 you have on this machine, nor what your Win 10 key is for.

For example, if you already have Win 10 Pro and your key is Win 10 Home, that would be a retrograde step.

Thank you for using Windows 10.

I would like to inform you that if you've upgraded from a genuine qualifying activated version of Windows (Windows 7SP1/8.1), then you will not need a product key.
