However, I want to remap the Home and E-Mail keys to Previous and Next Track respectively. I realise that these keys eventually generate a Virtual Key event. 2. AppKey in Registry items - what values have all keyboard keys?

I'm not asking about registry keys and values change - manually or by VB...

    I'm asking:

    registry key

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AppKey\18

short AppKey\18 is assigned to multimedia key Calc or App2.

    Q:

how to get values for other keys - and not only multimedial?

    like short

    AppKey\xx

  4. Remapping one Appkey instance as another in the Registry Editor

    Registry Editor Freezes !!

I HAD TO DO A CLEAN INSTALL STARTING W/MICSOFT 7 PRO. ALSO HAD TO DO A LOT OF FINGER CROSSING!

AND WHEN IT UPDATES IT WENT TO THE NEW VERSION OF WINDOWS 10. 1511_10586.71 INSTEAD OF THE BUILD 10586.0. 10586.0 WAS THE BUILD THAT HAD THE REGISTRY EDITOR FLAW.
